Game Program-(1972)
THE BRAVES HAVE BIG PLANS FOR THIS SEASON!!!

FLASHBACK (02.78)
I'm a college freshman at The Rochester Institute of Technology. I return home to the Tau Kappa Epsilon
house about 7:30pm on a Wednesday evening. I'm tired, lonely, broke, hungry, and homesick. The place is amazingly quiet for this time
in the evening. The usual crew around the TV watching lame M*A*S*H reruns is nowhere to be found. I seize the opportunity and
claim the main couch and turn on the TV. On comes the pre-game chatter of Van Miller and Dick Reifenburg, live from Madison
Square Garden. The Braves Television Network! A taste of home! I get all warm and fuzzy as I watch the Knicks pummel the Billy Knight
led Braves. Before halftime, I'm sound asleep, and by games end, the TV lounge has been taken over by the "Three's Company" crowd.
It was probably several weeks into the next season before I realized the Braves had left Buffalo for San Diego to become the Clippers.
Maybe if I had been paying more attention they would have stayed.
